In life we all have things happen to us that we question. We question why it is happening to us. We question what we are suppose to take away from the situation. We blame people, and we blame God, but we never want to blame ourselves. The question still stands though. Why is this happening to me?
This question relates to a theory on mine called The Dot Theory. Everything in life has purpose and meaning. Everything has its place in our life and all of these things connect in someway. These things in our lives are like scattered dots. At first, when we are right in the middle of it all, we cannot see where all the dots connect. We cannot see its purpose or meaning in our lives. One of my favorite quotes is by Steve Jobs. He says that, "you can't connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking back". We can't see how every even in our lives connects when we are right in the middle of living it, but at a later time when we have had time to thoughtfully and logically think about it we can see clearly its place.
Don't fret over the things in your life that seem out of place or seem like you can never recover from. Move on and reflect on it later. Learn from the events in your life and don't forget them. We can all learn from these events and we need to. We need to be able to accept that it has happened, move on, and later try to understand its place in our lives.
My Life In Words
This is a story about the day to day interactions of one person to another. It's about the events that make up our days. It's about how these people and these events all collide together to form what we call LIFE. This is the story of my life.

Doughnuts and Taxes
Today, I woke up and did my taxes. I am not too fond of dealing with money. All of my stock accounts are managed by my dad because I do not have the time or the patience to figure it all out.
I started on on the Turbo Tax site and filled in all my information. Somewhere along the line it got messed up and I had to start all over again. I tried using a different site and started out fine until it would not let me log into the account that I had just made. Then I get a warning that my battery on my laptop is about to dye. I plug it in, and it doesn't charge... At this point I had had enough and just wanted to quit. I switch to my dads MacBook and I get back on track; this time going back to Turbo Tax.
I get through all the information that I needed to put in when my dad tells me that he sold some stocks and I needed to account for it in my taxes. The only problem was that he didn't know the account information to log in and check the amounts. I grab my coat and head over to Scottrade to get my account information.
Once I had all of the information I needed I left and remembered that next door is a Dunken Doughnuts. I get a dozen to go and head back to finish my taxes.
After four hours, two computers, two tax websites, and twelve doughnuts my taxes were finished.
I should be getting a check in the mail from our wonderful government for $413. All that time to get back the money that was taken out of my weekly paychecks.
Thank you government for making my life so easy.

It Begins - Pizza and Movies
Today, I woke up and watched The Bourne movie series. Being on term break i have not done much else. It's been movies all week. Not that it is bad or anything. Movies are great, and sometimes just relaxing is just what we all need.
To make the day some what productive i decided to make home made pizza for my family for dinner. I love cooking. There is just something about it; being able to create something out of just basic ingredients. Cooking isn't about just throwing stuff in a bowl and heating it. It's about how it is prepared. How each and every ingredient is used at the right time in the right way. It's an art and a science.
The pizza turned out amazing. Just as i wanted it to taste. This was the first time i had ever tried to make pizza with out a pre-made crust. I didn't know how it was going to turn out, but in the end it al worked out.
Now i sit here typing away my day. I will most likely put on another movie until i fall asleep.
So until next time,
Goodnight :)
